About Kevin   Kevin is an Echuca-based outdoor photographer with a background in the army, on the land, and in the optical profession. The military taught Kevin at an early age the skills needed to explore wilderness areas. This has come in very handy for outdoor photography. Apart from photography, Kevin's interests include family, four-wheel drive touring and camping with caravan or tent, bushwalking and cycling (to keep fit for his photography). Kevin's photography    In Kevin's own words: "My main photographic interest is in the Australian landscape, particularly the arid outback regions. However, all nature photography is of interest to me. I tackle the task by keeping my camera gear to the minimum, freeing up the mind to concentrate on composition, rather than deciding which lens etc to employ. I am prepared to wait for all the elements of colour, pattern and light to come together in order to capture the best possible image. I'm always on the lookout for meaningful images with dramatic lighting."   Stressed land. kh1-14s
