Steve Castle operates Castle Images, a wedding and portraiture photography business based in the Hills District of western Sydney, which covers the Blacktown-Liverpool region. Steve is in the enviable position of loving his work, and he tells his clients that he will enjoy their photo session as much as they will. A dedicated lensman since his youth, Steve inherited his love of imaging from his father, a keen amateur photographer. And having spent many years in the information technology industry, he finds photography in the digital age is second nature. With an interest in things both environmental and spiritual, Steve contributes images to EcoPix and is also the EcoPix photo library manager.
Steve's photography 
Steve's love of photography has led him across much of Australia in search of wide landscapes for his favourite lens, the 24mm. But more modest focal lengths are his bread and butter when he has to flatter a bride or portrait sitter. A tiger for a photographic challenge, Steve enjoys photographing weddings, notorious as high-pressure photo assignments with no re-runs. He combines a documentary style with the traditional wedding-photo romance, to suit all tastes, and has won various awards for his work. Yet in his time off, Steve likes nothing more than to grab his camera and expand his stock image files, be it landscape, wildlife or telling environmental subjects, with which his home town of Sydney abounds.
